I have an Akita and this hit home, I ugly cried the whole movie and when it was over I just got on the floor next to Sonja and didn't let go for the longest time. They are truly an amazing breed and if you have that bond with them, you won't regret it! Even when Sonja is mad at me she still always has to have her eye on me, this movie beautifully represented the breed and the bond between owner and companion well! Warning: you may become dehydrated while watching the movie due to excessive crying.
