First and foremost I am not one to write a public review, post an opinion or to complain in public. What good does it do. Yet, for me, this has been a long time coming. My hope is maybe someone at CBS reads these reviews and takes everyone's opinion to heart. I cannot believe I am giving one of my all time favorite shows only 1 star. Simply put the wonderful CBS Sunday Morning is no longer wonderful. No longer wonderful for the reasons me and my family would tune in every Sunday; we have our alarm set to wake us just in case and our DVR set to record all episodes because we never ever wanted to miss an episode. CBS Sunday Morning was the show that was so different from any other news programming. It was positive, it was educational, it was entertaining. The show would take us to places we have never been, learn about cultures, arts, and so much more. We could see and experience things that we may never on our own. I loved how positive the show was. I am a person that believes in silver linings and CBS Sunday Morning was always a reminder of the good things and the possibilities and to appreciate the world around us and to be a part of being a solution to make our world a better place. Watching CBS Sunday Morning would leave me feeling inspired, positive, and hopeful. Now sadly it is just like every other news programming out there. It has become just another of many that just rehash all that is sad and horribly wrong in the world around us. If I wanted that I would just tune into to the many other biased news programming options out there; switching between all of them taking in right and left views. All anger all the time. No respect for one another; just moving from one bad story to another, just churning negativity. That is what is wrong with the world today. Watching CBS Sunday morning was a bright spot. I am surprised that the sun and the moment in nature are still part of the programming.
