I saw this movie in 2014 and was floored. The story, the acting, dialogue and supporting character voices.
I just watched it again and it's August of 2020. Still stunning and timeless. Tom Hardy captures this character and delivers a performance that is second to none. This movie could have easily gone south fast, but it doesn't, it only builds. Tom Hardy performs a one man show and develops the character that argues with himself, his past and present that gives himself to a character hurting, so convincingly that I was glued to the screen and I cried again. He commits to deliver humility and passion to give you the understanding of the characters anguish and pain of letting almost everyone down when your morals push you to do the kind and right thing.
