Great build up & imagary but disappointing ending. The slow burn romance is amazing. Def could rival Damon/Stefan... maybe even Lestat ?!?🫢 But, Instead of the Disney/Marvel ending; writers could have fed into the complexities of human nature. By allowing Evie to indulge riches & her base impulses before negating it all for her morals; It would have resonated with audiences seeking the super rich life, as a money isn't everything story. Having her leave it all for brief connections with maids because she also worked in the service industry is lazy. Seemed like alot of easy writing to tie everything up.
