I love this book. It does seem to carry a slightly similar effect on me as did C.S. Lewis’ A Grief Observed. Certain passages in Baumgartner blow my heart open wide. Stunned by how much the author conveys in so little time. The transfer of energy through bolts of gorgeous writing and soulful observations.
