The 2 main Characters: Joe Blocker and the Chief are the same kind of Animal reflecticting on their lives. Rosamund Pike's character becomes the same kind of animal they were through experience. Like they did; In the end She heads for a civil life of conformity. Joe follows like a repentant soul not wanting what the other direction holds. He will take his pension and make peace with himself and God. Great Movie! that will not go down well in America. It is too near the truth for Americans to swallow.
