I actually watched A Dog’s Journey before A Dog’s Purpose and I love both of them. Both movies made me cry (in a good way), and I was especially impressed by all the dogs’ acting abilities, and human actors too. 😊 Wonderful music score by Mark Isham and piano solos by Emily Bear in A Dog’s Journey. I also loved CJ’s (Kathryn Prescott) singing and guitar playing when she works up the courage to perform. As an Asian-American, I was so pleased to see the role of Trent played by an Asian actor and musician, Henry Lau. Josh Gad had a great voice for the dogs. Great family movie, and very heart warming and touching. I don’t even have a dog, but this movie makes me want to get one. 🐶
