For someone who loves watching these shows, the utter bias is heartbreaking. The show ended for me the moment Igor was eliminated. He clearly was the strongest but his small mistakes couldn’t be overlooked while the winner could make plentiful. Even then, Jordan deserved to run that kitchen, he had the story which Rav was pushing for Adria, he had the 3-element cooking style and a well-defined concept and his desserts didn’t suck as much as the winners’. Also, he clearly was a leader. For a kitchen requiring the standard and finesse like the one that was shown, they missed out putting the right person on the floor. Chef Roux did not hand the keys to the most deserving, the ones that deserved best couldn’t reach the finals. Twists and turns in a fiction bear well, in a reality show, not so much. A very disappointing finale.
