Don’t start this and think it’s going to get better. It’s like a bad Robert Ludlum torture/thriller was given to a talented high school journalism class. The main character is good, but his haircut is the first clue that the adults weren’t working on this project. The majority of the characters are unlikeable. The alleged MO of the CIA is to undermine co-workers,
to the point of sending their trainee to his possible death. Also: Too much casually thrown in torture. Music that doesn’t match the show. And that damned pre-frontal pompadour making my fingers itch for my horse clippers.
Watch Luther, Lupine, Slow Horses, even The Diplomat, but not this.
But I’d like to see the lead actor in other work.
Episode 2 is as far as the 1* reviewers can get.
