I’m sure some people are upset that it’s not a replica of the original cartoon but the adaptation in my opinion is great. Much better than the movie version. I do think the ones that want to relive their childhood are going to continue to be disappointed and mess up the ratings possibly preventing this series to play out completely Kudos to costume and makeup. While I wasn’t exactly excited about the cast and I do wish they kept Soka’s playful spirit and of General Iroh or a better version of zuko (I think makeup fail) The cgi was developed and at least there wasn’t a whole dance scene for them to move a pebble this time. The story could have been developed a bit more to explain the changes but in all the premieres were pretty much the same and while it didn’t show Aangs immediate crush on katara, Azula’s ruthless character or Toph yet (which I think is probably a top 3 favorite character) In all it’s a great adaptation that I look forward to seeing how it plays out
