I have binged much of what's currently out on AppleTV this evening and throughly enjoyed it! The minds of Taika Waititi and Jemaine Clement are a true comedic gift to our world. This show has been full of fun kids friendly fantasy adventure content while keeping me (an adult) laughing and engaged the whole time. Lisa Kudrow has delivered a wonderful not a lead, lead role and young Kal-El Tuk has been a clever little chap bringing life to his role. Overall the show has brought joy to my day and I look forward to watching more. Not sure why there are so many negative reviews the show has been infused with life, color, and lots of silly jokes.

I feel like the negative reviews totally missed the deeper theme of the movie of liberating the oppressed people. This movie was a joy to watch. The magic was enticing, I rooted for the people to be freed from their surpresive king from the beginning, and was joyed by all the sweet classic Disney Easter eggs encountered on the way. I believe this movie was a beautiful homage to the old and new Disney styles seen with the eclectic mashup of animation styles. A true love letter to Disney's legacy reminding us once again that the power and magic is in us.

This moving made me so uncomfortable. It should be rated M not R in my opinion. I usually love Emma Stone and was excited to see what won her an Oscar but I can't express enough how disgusting and disturbing this movie is. It should come with trigger warnings. Early on you find out Stones character has the brain of an unborn baby in her Frankenstein body and shortly after the sex scenes begin. Throw up disgusting. This movie feels like one of those disturbing internet videos teens dare each other to watch thus scarring themselves for life. I really don't see how it is so critically acclaimed and awarded. The people behind those words of praise should see a phycologist. You can call it art all you want but when you add an element of child SA it will never ever be acceptable in my book.
