Huge Journey fan. Bigger Perry fan. One of the best male vocalists ever. I waited on pins and needles awaiting the release of his new album. Couldn’t wait.. I’m glad he did it, I understand why he took so long as well. But for me, while there’s no doubt his writings were personal, I couldn’t connect. I tried to let them grown on me but they just didn’t.
