This book had so much potential. I thoroughly enjoyed the first half of the book and the plot was fantastic. However, I felt that the main character got off far too easily and the second half of the book was rushed. This book has the potential to have been a 3 book series had the pacing and depth of the story been better. Also, the character development was also paced a bit fast and things weren't as thoroughly explored as they should have been. I'm sad to say that I was disappointed with how the books climax came about and just how quickly it went from he mystery behind the subplot and the main characters relationship development to 'this is the happily ever after'.
