Major media outlets have given this game 10/10, reviews have given it 2 stars even with the onslaught of paid reviews. I am a huge fan of the first game but this one plays like a politically correct nightmare. The visuals and attention to detail are amazing as with the first. You play as Ellie from TLOU who is an out lesbian travelling with her loving Jewish girlfriend, fine. This isn’t including the ridiculous events that will make you want to put down your controller if you’ve played the first but I won’t spoil it. Anyway, you then play as a female power lifter with arms bigger than should be possible. It’s like someone was on character builder and set the muscle tab to max. She is more jacked than the models for some of the street fighter dudes. Literally the only way she’d be that jacked is with 10 lean chicken breasts a day and steroids which would not be found in the apocalypse. You then travel with a transgender Asian to help her disabled sister who came from a religious cult. PC has swallowed up this game and destroyed the story which seemed completely disjointed. Shame, the settings and notes you find are truly great.
