Nice photography with interesting views of the area. There the fun ends….. I’ve completed the first season (4 two-episode stories). Despite a smattering of well-known faces, the acting is amateurish - surely down to directing. Bizarre portrayal of relationships. All feels like it’s lines spoken by numbers. Odd silences during conversation - once seen, you can’t avoid it. I’ll see it out, but more for the photography than any thing else. Clunky.

Engrossing show, at least for seasons 1 & 2. Season 3 feels very different, though. Apart from the change of at least one actor (playing Malcolm X), the acting and dialogue have become overblown and almost amateurish. That’s crazy, given the quality of the cast. It’s as if the writers/ directors have decided to dial everything up. A pity….

Great show - of it’s time. I’m watching it now (season 1) for the first time since I watched it in the ‘60’s. Once it’s settled down the show started to find its feet. Some really interesting stories (some a tad weak, but you’d expect that). Memories.....🤩

Not just me then ! That 4th wall thing only works if it’s sparing (House of Cards UK) and doesn’t unbalance the plot. I’m on episode one but already wincing. Any dark moments and I’m waiting for her to talk to me about it. Love her work (although the built-in stutter / hesitation in delivery can annoy), but this is a car crash.

Extraordinarily poor acting from an experienced cast. How did that happen?

Incoherent and jumbled - the climax rushed and predictable. The only memorable bit is the final 1 minute…… I won’t spoil it 😌

Interesting start. I’m surprised how complimentary posters have been about the acting. Almost am-dram. Nesbit’s attempt at double-take is laughable. And he’s a pro! 🤨 Relationships confusing and inconsistent. A pity….
