the tv series is dead in the water - as a fan since troughton the writing and characters are shallow - no back story at all therefore you don’t care about them. As for the Doctor they’ve turned her into a simpleton. Hopefully we are reaching the ratings level at which the BBC will cancel the series. Please Chibnall leave before you kill the show.
