I thought Shailene was fabulous. The storyline was riveting. My critique is this: The ending failed and I’ll tell you why. She solved the case and instead of getting all the credit, she’s asked to sign a waive (by the establishment she doesn’t trust) with the condition that her partner gets a posthumous medal with full pay benefits and She is given a field commission at the FBI or she will expose the truth. The ending shows her walking towards FBI Headquarters and ends. Poor ending, left me hanging. The ending should have been this: She’s walking down the street, rounds the corner and someone either bumps into her an d stabs her or someone asking towards her a shoots her with a silencer gun. She falls to the sidewalk as the camera pans into her with her tearing eyes wide open. She then realizes these scum weren’t going to trust her to keep her out shut as she dies eyes wide open. Fade out.
