Spectacular episode 1 to 8. A twist at the end you’ll never see coming. Impeccably acted among the entire cast. Putting it on my worth a rewatch list for sure.

Brokeback mountain for lesbians. Only differences is it’s set in 80’s New Mexico and it’s a crime thriller. But at its roots, it’s a gay love story - and who doesn’t love one of those.

I actually loved this movie. The format was very unique and I was invested in all the characters. It had humor, heart and edginess. I want to watch it again

Stylistically appealing. However the main character lacks any sort of depth and looks like she’s posing in every single shot. Empty stare. Empty brain no thoughts After finding out the writer, director and main actor is in fact a billionaire in real life and has never experienced anything in this film makes it feel exploitative. Add on the fact that she wrote this script in 3 days it comes across even more icky and like poverty porn.

I like the style of this film but I don’t like kids so this entire movie was like nails on a chalkboard

Tries exceptionally hard to be an artsy fartsy movie. I even like artsy fartsy but this just felt sloooow. Could have cut it in half with the extended shots and pointless scenes. A couple chuckles and clever lines. 1 sentence synopsis: 140 minutes of a mentally challenged woman having sex and breaking plates. However Emma Stone and Mark Ruffalo are amazing actors and that’s why I’m giving it 2 stars instead of 1.

Fantastic film! Didn’t even feel like 3 hours, I was enthralled.
