David Lynch's Dune (1984) suffered greatly at the hands of its producers, most notably De Laurentiis, who cut and "rebuilt" the film as he saw fit. Having that in mind, we can see the soul of the Lynch's work. Dune of 84' is an underrated master piece, created with soul of the director, destroyed by it's producers over and over and brilliantly saved by it fans in the "Fanedit Dune Redux".
