I find it weird this thing to have gone to more than one series. The 1st. Ep starts off decent enough, but then you almost immediately wonder what happened as the ep continues, did the writer abruptly quit or simply lost ability? Lots of eastern philosophy that is almost never applied by the character preaching it. The use of the iron fist power is barely used and even then weaved in terribly and the fight scenes are unfortunately C level considering the tech and access to decent trainers and coaches. The Choreo is just lower scale ok, and the execution of the choreo worse than the choreo, it's as if you're watching a light rehearsal version where everyone only put in a weeks worth of learning a punch and a kick and then rushed to make the film shoot deadline. The story struggles to come together, the acting thought process displayed in the roles left me struggling to continue episodes. It's unfortunate that the main character know as, Danny-Iron fist is badly written in to be a wise, emotionally controlled well trained martial artist however, he displays the complete opposite and is actually emotional and all over the place while constantly reciting wise quotes throughout of having inner control. I did note as the episodes went on, the actor who plays the main character's execution went from decent in earlier episodes to worse as the story continued. LOL, it was clearly evident he couldn't maintain the action character, but then again, I blame that on the writer, directors and those responsible for prepping the actors before filming. Ugh, I wanted it to come together so bad.... That's a no for me honestly. Sorry guys.
