Science aside, the movie is annoyingly realistic. Especially for people in the field of planetary defence. By the way: the orbit of a new object is not generally calculated by hand on a white board, and in real event don't call Cambridge or Caltech: the two centres monitoring NEOs are at JPL, USA and ESA/ESRIN, in Frascati, Italy. And if you really want to call a University, call Pisa, in Italy.

Very well done, interesting story, credible acting.
