This is an intellectual film that explores both isolation & narcissism evading cliche tropes and pitfalls along the way. I was pleasantly surprised by it and have thought quite a bit on it the week since watching it. In a word - satisfying.

If only Nolan could dig as deep into his portrayal of relationships and the reality of women as he does physics and video-game styled action. He’s smarter than this - and what he can’t access himself he could through collaboration. This continued singular white male visioning disappoints - phone a friend, Christopher, a feminist, a sociologist. My sense is you could deliver a more complete, radiant, satisfying experience - for yourself and your viewers, if you dug a little deeper, consulted a little wider ...
