Please please can this silly programme use presenters that know what it is like to live rurally in ancient properties that demand high maintenance and are not designed for modern day living Please stop saying thick walls and low ceilings keep it warm in winter and cool in summer NOT SO ! my home is 500 years old thick walls low beamed ceilings in winter it is freezing in summer the trapped heat makes it like a furnace I'm on oil fired heating and hot water if the tanker cant get down the lane due to snow tough luck we go cold the expense is huge we have a septic tank that requires emptying and can go on the blink in certain conditions its not all chocolate box roses around the door so please be honest and informed I'm used to it and love my home but newbies would find it hard being off the mains gas and sewerage if used to a town location and everything on tap

Total dross the programme where Tom did the majority of the work and the lazy partner turned up now and again was cringeworthy why was he allowed to take part in the final appraisal and have the nerve to stand there nodding wisely and accepting praise for something he didnt do let alone expect half the profit!! The properties are far too derelict for the budget after all the charges etc are weaseled down there is no profit Take this nonsense off the TV and stop exploiting people desperate to get onto the housing ladder or think they can stand back watch others break their backs and swipe half of any profit Just ghastly

I watched this programme as a child remembering Peter Seabrook at Clacks Farm Geoff Hamilton etc and really like Monty Don but what has happened to this once useful programme full of tips and advice ? Instead we get trips around other peoples gardens visits to their compost heaps,and little Jonny scattering a packet of seeds please lets get back to a proper gardening programme im sure there is enough material to do whole programmes on proper gardening i love to see Montys dogs and miss Nigel but for goodness sake lets garden if you want a programme on other peoples plots then make a separate programme quite honestly ive started to switch off and do us,all a favour get rid of some of those dreary presenters Carol Klein for one most of them are complete no hopers

Just loathe this programme now Tommy Walsh is great always liked his experience and advice Would like to know what a washed up footballer in the shape of Dion Dublin brings to the table and Jackie Joseph queen of the upcycled old sideboard what a farce Martel Maxwell has the charisma of an earthworm but an earthworm is useful at least This programne needs scrapping its long past its sell by date Total trash
