Yes it is a reboot. I did watch the original with my wife she even has a couple of seasons on dvd. The point iit is not the original. New story lines new plot twists. I cant stop watching because just when you think you know what is going on bam they throw you a curve ball. I watch it as a new series with new ideas. Dont compare it to the original watch it as a new show and you will enjoy it.
