It’s a good midweek watch. Some unbelievable aspects to the storyline and actions or lack of by some of the characters. Idris of course makes it worth watching but so do some of the other brilliant British actors. Does make you wonder what you’d do in the same situation. Also the obvious setting of the flight starting in Dubai with a number of the passengers being of Arabic descent and followers of Islam, may cause some viewers to jump to conclusions. Instead they are more representative of ‘normal’ people who are Muslims, who experience the fear, anger etc as much (if not more) as any other passenger. The American woman with glasses is a bit of a stereotype too which makes viewers care less about her feelings. Yet to see the finale as episodes are being released weekly, I’m hoping the ‘twist’ is a good one so I can look forward to the possibility of a 2nd season.
