I have been reading a lot of reviews of people who are disappointed that the show is surrounded on character storylines and backstory. But you guys have to remember, the title of this show is,”Monarch: Legacy of Monsters “. #1: it’s based on the beginnings of Monarch, #2: it’s about the legacy behind the study of monsters, and creation of Monarch by the Randa parents, and then of the children’s story concerning everything about the Randa parents. There’s your legacy. This is about monsters, yes. But it’s more so about the legacy behind the monster story. Personally, I can’t stop watching! Granted, I am eager to find out what the heck Shaw’s true plan for the monster situation. He said that he wants to “help” the monsters? Then he blows up the portal in Alaska? Hm, what is that about? And I want them to find their father, so we can finally figure out why the hell he’s running around the globe and what is he doing. Because apparently it’s so important to him that he leaves his families behind to do it! And yeah, I’d want to find him too! He was supposed to be dead, and all of a sudden, you learn that he isn't! Wouldn’t you want to know too? I know I would, ha. Especially for my mom’s peace of mind. So, there’s my two cents guys. Enjoy! 😉
