Gorom Valand

Wonderfully done movie. I went in thinking it was going to be a simple monster vs. helpless humans running away kind of movie, but the twists and turns kept it feeling fresh and alive the entire time. Worth a watch.

Ok yeah, so I decided to go with the rotten tomatoes and metacritic reviews instead of listening to the 2 and 1 star reviews given by the google users in the review section.....I 100% regret not listening to the 1 star reviewers. This is all in my OPINION. This movie goes WAY too slow and is too smart for its own good. There are moments where it goes up in suspense and you think something will happen but then dives into long winded dialogue that just reminds you of chatting with your best friend 1 on 1 after watching some poorly done youtube documentary about the human brain or the psychological effects of this movi- erm I mean of life on the human mind. By the time the scenery finally changed to things with music and other visual effects/animation, my wife and I were writhing with boredom just wanting something to happen. Not to mention, the two characters seem so smart and intellectual capable yet make stupid mistakes at parts throughout the movie. Too smart for their own good, I'm saying. TLDR; I'm thinking of ending things made me say "I'm thinking of ending this movie" about 30 minutes in. You can do like some of the others on here said and skip the car scenes except the first 10 minutes of the first one and get the same feel without the need for excessive dialogue.
