The movie depicts WWII very accurately, Most of the story is fiction but the events could of happened. It depicts the horrors of war and what warfare can do to a human. Everybody plays their role perfectly, Tom Hanks does a great job. I do not reccomend this movie for the faint of heart, but it's an amazing piece of cinmea gold.

Horrible, full of Confederate propaganda. "great movie for civil war buffs" I was told I watched it and it was absolutely terrible. The battles aren't great either and the violence it literal kid friendly violence, step it up guys this is just ridiculous.
