Louisa May Alcott didn’t write this story about “women empowerment!” She wrote about life in that day. Supporting the community, love and support for each other during an unsure time in our history. I’m upset that the director and writer of this version interpreted this classic in a way to suit women who are insecure! Plus your selection of actors for the parts played were significantly wrong. Great actors, wrong for the parts of your 2019 version of Little Women!!!! Here’s a thought, why don’t you write your own books/stories instead of trying to reinterpreting a classic!
