Who the heck is giving this STUPID movie any stars??? The movie is dull, from the start of the movie. It starts with the security CCTV footage of one of the hijackers moving through the airport as he makes his way to the plane , after that the rest of the movie is filmed in the cockpit. After the attacks, we all know the new priority is to keep would-be terrorists out of the flight deck at all costs. It starts off where the Captain is told there are two passengers late. The captain decides to wait for two passengers who arrive from the tarmac and board. What the F? I’m a United Premier with +700K miles and have never had a flight wait for me even overseas when the shuttle broke down mid tarmac. The plane left and my luggage got to Bangladesh before I did. A struggle ensues as the captain is stabbed in the stomach and the co-pilot stabbed in the arm but he manages to lock the door and knockout the glass wielding hijacker and securing that weapon. The other hijackers continue to pound on the door while making threats to the passengers and the crew with their glass shivs. The rest of the movie is the hijacker’s banging on the door FOEVER! Annoying!! The co-pilot notices that the hijacker who was being tracked at the beginning of the movie isn't to happy with what is happening. This is where the viewer is supposed to empathize with the hijacker till the end of the movie making the second half dull and boring as the co-pilot fails to take action with the hijacker. Made me scream at the TV for 25 plus minutes! Because he’s stupid. Then he has a conversation with the hijacker making you think he will stab him… but NO!!! The most infuriating aspect of this movie to me is the lack of passenger involvement. 80 passengers versus 3 hijackers with glass bottles and they do nothing. This might have been a good movie before 9/11 but honestly it’s insulting to the 40 souls who lost their lives on United Airlines Flight 93. 4One of the poorest movies I’ve seen in a long time. The only good part of this movie was the cockpit. If you’re a fan of aviation you will enjoy the realism of the cockpit and the noises but this movie was annoying to say the least.
