Spoilers: Terrible and harmful portrayal of DID. Grace has DID, and one of her alters is the “protector” (a common alter for most people with DID to have). The protector alter is the alter who takes over in situations where the host may need protecting (in situations where the host may be assaulted or abused). Graces “protector” alter is just malicious and evil for no reason though. That’s not how DID works, and it only creates the harmful narrative that those with DID can be dangerous and “insane”. I’ve met a couple people with DID (one of them being a teen girl who didn’t even know she had it until I told her to do research into it), and I would never want them to be subjected to watching this movie, nor anyone who has this viewpoint that those with DID are dangerous. It makes me really sad to think that media is still portraying DID this way.

3 of the most irresponsible and annoying 30-something year olds go to Spain (because of one girls jobs) and act like they’re still 21, and constantly put themselves in dangerous and stupid situations to hook up with random guys. Honestly, the thing that bothers me the most is how old they are. No one should be in their mid-30’s, clubbing, getting into dangerous situations, and jeopardizing their jobs to hook up with people. It’s concerning if people are actually like this in real life. I also laughed out loud when some guy implied they were “youth”.
