This show clearly missed the mark in all aspects the first episode. When comparing to shows like The Witcher and The Mandalorian it just doesn’t feel well thought out and we are only one episode in. The plot is very reminiscent of The mandalorian except no cute baby yoda. The first person perspective scenes was poor quality B movie cheesy at best. I love halo haven’t read the books, but was hoping to get into this series and see it do very well. I do look forward to seeing if the show improves over time. I think it was to soon for master Chief to be taking off his helmet. It would have been nice to have just seen things from master chiefs perspective (could have done without the girl, but I honestly didn’t mind that’s not what’s wrong with this series) CGI was pretty lack luster too. I’d like to have seen masterchief with his silver team and the bond that they would have as the show develops. We are introduced characters we simply don’t care about really is the problem in top of a boring plot. I’d rather have seen masterchief question what he is doing over time and make the determination what he is doing wrong or if he met the arbiter and how he defied the high prophets. Since this is non- canon anyway they should just focus on the characters we do care about.

Should have been a comedy horror!
