I really enjoy this show. I am a sucker for series which focus on character growth. The primary characters are well defined, and the audience is given backstory information in a believable manner that helps flesh out those definitions. The challenges the characters face are responded to in accordance with their personalities, motivation, and prior growth. I love the dynamics. While this is not a hard-core cop show with a focus on the crimes being committed or the detective work being done to solve them. It IS a good vehicle for the exploration of the challenges of serving as law enforcement officers, and the burdens of great authority. It may be a bit pie-in-the-sky. But I really enjoy this series so far. Can't wait for the next season.
