I read the Chaos Walking books, and this movie...was absolutely nothing like them. I loved the effort the actors put in, but whoever wrote this movie seems to have only read half of the first book. The plot in the movie is completely different from the plot of the first book. There is so much that this movie could have been. Personally I think it should have been a trilogy and respected all three books with events that actually happened.If I hadn't read the books I might have liked it. I just recommend reading them. They tell such an amazing story that the movie wasn't even close to.The plot in the movie was MILES away from the plot of the book and I'm surprised Patrick Ness went through with this.There is a lot, and I mean slot of stuff missing. If I was the author I know I wouldn't.PLEASE READ THE BOOKS. I think if you liked the movie you will absolutely love them. And you will see what I mean by the movie having a completely different plot. I hope somebody remakes the movie into a better one that follows the plot, and honors the other books.
