No spoilers whatsoever. Captain Marvel in its runtime of 2 hours and 5 minutes, showcases the orgin story of its protagonist Carol Danvers. By no means is the movie bad, and as an audience member I enjoyed the whole of its runtime. Its subtle humor like most of the Marvel movies hits the spot everytime. The timing for the introduction of Captain Marvel has come in between one of the major events in the MCU 'The Decimation' and since the film tackles the past and present events I suspect that the makers had a pretty tough time arranging the story. But even so the movie succeeds in establishing Captain Marvel as one of the most powerful heroes in the MCU and gives the character much more depth for its appearence in Avengers: Endgame. So I highly encourage any of you who are having doubts on the movie to go watch it as it is worth every penny. It holds true to its comic book roots. And please stay till the end of the credits as there are two post credits scenes, one in the middle and one at the very end.
