While the trailer seemed very promising; the actual movie is like fuska bomb!!!
No doubt the acting skills of Akshay Kumar & Sharad Kelkar is fantastic, but the ensemble of supporting cast is very poor. Kiara advani hasn't got much to do; just used her beautiful face & pretty smile as a prop.
Songs pop out from nowhere unwanted and unasked, only burj khalifa & bam bam bole is good, rest songs are not worth hearing.
The script, execution and direction is very poor, which is the major drawback of this movie. Director wasn't aware of day & night. In few scenes, there is sudden shift from afternoon to night; which really questions our basic science knowledge!
Comedy scenes won't even make you laugh, instead it will make you feel irritated and cringe.
From the beginning itself, the movie makers wants us to realise laxmii is something supernatural & powerful with full of vengeance.
The villan is quite unimpressive, it was very easy to defeat him, yet it was shown as if he is very Powerful. I felt it was unnecessary to show how difficult it was to kill him.
Climax unfolds in last 20 mins.
The entire movie has very thin storyline along with predictable plot and yet the director managed to maintain the show over this. Camera/shooting skills was quite poor. Don't understand why they need to change camera angle many times for a simple scene.
The real laxmii aka Sharad Kelkar was really impressive with his powerful acting skills. Akshay Kumar too has impressed us with his acting. I am giving 2 stars for their performances.
The only good thing from this movie is they depict the real life problems of transgenders, how they deal with it, how the mindset of society needs to be changed.
