I have been so excited for this game to come out. One of my favorite games of all time was Cold War 2. After being brought back into the COD world with Modern Warfare and Warzone, I was beyond excited to play the newest Cold War. For the first time in my 7 year relationship, my fiancé bought me a video game and it was this one. I am trying hard not to make her feel bad but this game.....how do I say it..??.. is awful. If I could have rated it 0 stars, I would have. I heard there was a split in development especially with the next gen platforms launching, etc..and COVID and all..but this feels like I went back in time to Cold War 2..but it’s like that moment you go back to a great game you remembered (cough, cough, goldeneye) and it was so much worse than you realized. I’m not sure if they took the last Cold War game and marketed it as a new game, but I’m done..I played about 10 multiplayer matches and 2 levels in the campaign and it’s not worth it..I just feel bad because I’m sure my fiancé will never buy another game for me going forward..thanks....
