I was SO hopeful because in 2020 the concepts of the originals have never been more in need.. What I got was what I feared. Exactly what this generation thinks they have to do with everything of ours and what makes them progressive. Spoilers ahead.... The song that saves the universe? A brutal mash up massacre of "in time". They dont create it...their daughters sample parts of what came before ...perfectly personifying the current generations idea that if they take what came before them, butcher it they can say see its better our way and dare us to disagree like a child finger painting a blotch and daring us not to call it the best elephant that was ever painted. Carlin would weep at the PC pandering that takes place from almost the beginning. I'm having my kids watch the first two in hopes that message is what they take forward.
