Cast is good, tho Ravi could have been better . But the problem is that the show is sooo bad. Things are just coming to pip, she is not finding anything. Pip was smart in books, but not here in series, she is just dumb, just running, driving, walking scenes??? They did not put the " real man wearing floral while trespassing" line.. I'm pissed at how awesome i expected the series to be.. and I got this weird version of a great story. Pip was nerdy, and smart. She would never just run out of a house she sneaked in !!! And people were just telling her stuff??? No blackmail to Howie?? Max and Daniel seem fine?? I almost did not finish it, but then I thought.. just 6 eps . ..

I've just read the first book so far and might never even complete the second, because for me the story so far is straight boring. At the beginning i was pinned... But after some chapters, it started repeating the plot. They were just traveling and escaping for most of the book. I hate to say that book adaptation is better than series. The characters were shallow, even the protagonists were shallow. Maybe the books get better from second onwards. But it's not what I'd want to risk.

It's such an amazing novel with a very vast plot. I love this book, it has every element to it to make you fall in love with it. The character development is so well done. The story is just so satisfactory and has the best possible ending. The writing is so beautiful as well. I'm really satisfied with the book... Although it has made me hopeful that a new grishaverse book can be written.. but it will take years according to Leigh. overall I'm glad that I started King of scars duology.
