I’m really enjoying this , I just watched the original movie last week. The actors here look more realistic, more like desert people would. An example I loved was how the basket w Moses was the same word as used for Noah’s ark

Intense. I could only take one episode a new. The actress who played the lead investigator was fantastic, and Matthew Broderick just became his character. He was awesome. Some commentators question why the investigator was playing video games. She is in her own addiction zone. Numbing the pain so she doesn’t have to feel or deal w her life and issues She’s just killing time before going to bed. Trust me on this I run a construction company and yes I have had several guys w opioid , so far all are recovered and moving along w their life. Most got straightened out in prison, believe it or not. I was out of control myself so I can relate. This show was very hard for me to watch, but I’m glad I did.
