A sudden discovery of a story written by her at the age of 13 about the abuse by her mother leads her to face the reality and her abusers. The film shows us the harsh reality of our society and how traumatic past incidents leave a dent in our mind. The cast and the crew have done an amazing job in depiction of this heartbreaking story.

Edge Of Tomorrow maybe one of the best alien invasion science fiction film I have ever seen. It tells the story of a soldier played by Tom Cruise who gains the ability to reset time and must use it to fight and destroy the alien invaders along side Rita Vrataski played by Emily Blunt. The film gives you amazing action along with a clever plot full of twist and turns. Its completely different from the other alien invasion films. Tom Cruise and Emily Blunt does an amazing job in portraying their respective characters. This film is a must watch and please do not skip seeing the film just by type casting it as the various alien invasion films you have seen before.

Big Little Lies is a thriller and murder mystery series. The first season begins with the on going investigation of a murder in the town of Otter Bay and the show leads us through a journey of events or lies that led to the murder. The series explores themes of complicated relationship between human beings in the modern world to crave for power and money and obsession of being picture perfect in front of world. All the actresses from Nicole Kidman, Reese Witherspoon, Shailene Woodley, Zoe Kravitz to Laura Dern does an amazing job in bringing the complicated characters to life. Supporting actors including the child artists have also done a great job especially Darby Camp as Chole. Second Season deals with the aftermath of murder. Though in the second season the plot sometimes seems a little over dramatic but stellar performances cover ups for the mistakes. Overall I think Big Little Lies is a series worth watching.

Sharp Objects is a great miniseries. It is one of the best thrillers I have ever watched. Sharp Object tells the story of of a reporter who comes back to her hometown to investigate the death of two young girls. Everything from cast, acting , character to screenplay is spot on. Amy Adams does an amazing job as the lead actress. Sharp objects plot is full of twists and turns. There is a sense of macabre and a sense of foreboding throughout the show. As the show progresses the emotionally and psycologically troubled past of the narrator is unfolded. I have hardly seen a crime thriller made with this intelligence and intensity. I recommend Sharp Objects as a must watch. Do remember to watch the credits of last episode.

The miniseries Chernobyl recounts the events of one of the worst nuclear disasters in the history of mankind. The series shows how reckless rush for power and supremacy and failure to accept ones incompetence resulted in the disaster in Chernobyl. It narrates how human greed and lust for power resulted in loss of millions of innocent lives and cursed the generations to come. The cast of Chernobyl did an amazing job along with the entire crew of the miniseries in recounting the fateful event. It questions our conscience about the effect of over ambitious nature and power lust of humans. But it also gives us hope there will always be good people who will bring out the truth no matter what the cost. I would recommend everyone to watch the series and witness the cost of lies and avarice.

Tom Hanks did an amazing job in potraying forrest gump in this film. Forrest Gump is a feel good film with a very simple and uncomplicated plot. If you only love films having intricate and complex plot full of twists and turns and action then forrest gump is not your film. But if you want to watch something new and good forrest gump is the best film to watch. So I would recommend everyone to watch the film at least once as it is the only one of its kind.

Manchester by the Sea tells the heartbreaking story of a janitor through flashbacks when he comes to his hometown to take care of his nephew after his brother's death. The film conveys strong emotion and realistic fellings of people following a tragedy. The film is supported by stellar cast and exceptional acting. Film shows that a person can never really forget his past no matter how hard he tried. The film is a must watch for everyone.

The film Theory of everything tells the story of a man named Stephen Hawking who defied his illness to become one of the world's greatest physicist. The film also beatifully deals with the problems faced by him and his family. Eddie Redmayne marvellously potray the great scientist in the film with agreat supporting role from Felicity Jones. The life of this great scientist reinstates the old saying that nothing is impossible if we try. According to me the movie is a must watch for everyone.
