Typical American we are supreme despite seemingly overwhelming odds movie. Seems it’s more about the American July 4th holiday scenario which most others don’t celebrate or care about. Of course we have the love interests, too much chat. I fast forwarded parts of it but in the end it comes down to personal tastes in these type of movies. We knew that of course the Americans would win over the aliens. I reckon if we had been overrun with aliens with advanced technology they would have known our defences backward considering they have been here before. Of course it’s only a film for entertainment. I see Resurgence didn’t do well but really can one keep the same type of movie over and over?

Good fun and still enjoyable to us old'n.
