A good, fresh looking gripping story is something refreshing to see after a long time. Thankam offers a genuine peek into the lives of two men who involved in gold trafficking. The highlight of this movie is it's genuine presentation of characters. Each actor in this movie whether small role or big role executed unforgettable performances and Mumbai actor Girish Kulkarni's portrayal of the invesigating police officer is the real show stealer. Screenplay is involving and direction has done justice to the storyline. Even the background score has richly complimented to the unpredictable progression of the story. Overall a movie worth spending two and half hours of your time.

Watched Cold case with big expectation since it's a Prithvi film. Cold case turned to be a Boring Case. Cold case is a good example for how a thrilling plot can be killed by a poor narration and bad acting. Debutante director had great ideas, mostly drawn from Hollywood flicks but miserably failed in its execution. Unraveling of murder mystery stories are not new. But this story had a great thread to build a suspense thriller even greater than Dhrushyam! Yes believe me! Mystery deaths, running after the killer, Parallel investigation, paranoia, parapsychology, revengeful dead soul, sorcery and you name it..you will find it all in this movie as if a Malayalam movie cannot be made without these unrealistic ingradients these days.! Well we can tolerate all these but what cannot is poor acting. Even a decent character actor like Prithvi looked edgy and rubber faced. Dialogue delivery of most of the characters reminded college day dramas. What keep the audience interested in this movie is its interesting plot. Audience kept on expecting something unexpected is going to happen but only to get disappointed. The few face saving good things about this movie is the performance of the child artist and background score. Another positive about this movie is you are watching it on Amazon prime so you can keep checking the time left for this movie to be over. After watching Cold Case I had come into terms with the movie " The Priest"!

Watched it in Amazon Prime. Such a pathetic movie. Monotonous and unrealistic plot. Mammukka better not to do action films anymore. I watched this whole movie only to see vivacious Meena.

A watchable movie that has got all the ingredients of a social/crime thriller. This movie is still a hit among the masses with its spicy dialogues and impressive acting performance by lead character played by Suresh Gopi, Soman, N.F Varghese etc.
