This film is a masterpiece and easily the best movie of 2022. Hats of the writer, director who has done it yet again! He's a freaking genius.

I watched Kumbalangi Nights a few days ago and loved it absolutely. Somehow thought I should watch this so much praised movie. To be honest, it was as commercial and fake as many of the bollywood movies around and not at all slice of life like many other Malayali movies. very overrated. It isn't a bad movie for sure. But I don't get the cult status it seems to have gotten. Even being from Bangalore, it didn't really make me feel something about it. Also get ready for some ridiculous plot points like one of the lead guy meeting an air hostess in a big city like Bangalore again and most of all she remembering him. Apparently everyone they meet is Malayali :D

I gave up after first 10 minutes of viewing. Too much dramatization of everything. The worst part is the hindi dubbing over English. Too cringy for my liking.
