easily one of my faves. Yes, i totally realize that it's completely historically inaccurate. But, the plot, the score, everything about it is amazing.

Look, I thought the [most] acting was great, and Elsie Fisher was a great representation of most eighth grade girls out there. But nothing was really accurate. I find it hard to believe that this girl had no friends. Idk about other schools, but at my middle school, everyone had a group, at least 2-3 close friends. Frankly, I found most of it to be cringy, hardly watchable because of the script and the acting of some of the other characters. I had high hopes, but "Eighth Grade" really fell short for me
