My favorite game in 30 years of playing. 100% immersive. When playing at night in a darkened room, I felt that I was there, lived there, grew up there. The game gives you complete control over how you live your life. You don't need to do any quests if you don't want to. But of course you do. When you want to. You can always go at your own pace. If you enter an underground tech cauldron, you have committed to that until you fight your way out. But the vast majority of your game is played above ground. The controls soon feel very natural -- you get the thrill of excelling at what feel like home-grown skills many many times. There is a lot of leeway in how you attack and dodge. It doesn't feel as programmed as most other games. I could go on and on. I love it, and I can't wait for Horizon Forbidden West.
