Very little about this movie makes sense. It foes down in the Philippines islands but instead of getting international search and rescue involved or even the Philippines army, the company sends out a bunch of mercenaries? They landed on a road being built by these rebels that was large enough to facilitate a commercial plane but there is no government on the island? The captain decides to go walk about to search for help and he decides to take a convicted murderer with military training? They come across an abandoned building which had been used by the rebels to execute missionaries and the rebels just so happen to leave a recording of the execution along with a fully functional camera for them to find? What we're missionaries doing on a island that was supposed to be uninhabited or inhabited by rebels? And why did their mission not try to find them? The Philippines army refused to help in the rescue because of a few poorly armed rebels but 2 poorly trained Americans were able to extract the hostages? The rescue team sent in to rescue the passengers had absolutely no escape plan and had to turn to a commercial pilot for an escape plan? The escape plan is to get back on a plane that was crash landed in a jungle and fly it off the island even though they had emptied the fuel? Plus thr rebels attack and shoot up the plane? The road the plane crashed on was on a small island but it was long enough to facilitate a take off of a damaged plane? Only watch this movie if you are high on weed!

What an absolute waste of talent. As a londoner looking at this, I was put off from the opening scene. It's totally unrealistic! Absolutely no way people will allow you to get off with that sort of behaviour. Then, it just got worse from there. My wife gave up on it after the first episode but being the compulsive personality that I am, I had to finish what I had started. However, I kept shouting at the TV all the way long, "this is stupid!" I think they are trying to explain how anyone can become a murderer but any logical person would extricate themselves from the situation at the earliest avaliable point. Everything done in this show was avoidable and unrealistic. I regret watching it.
