I grew up with the Thundercats, and I do understand that it was basically an infomercial to sell Thundercats toys, but this recent incarnation shouldn't ever be considered connected to the 1980's series. The animation looks deliberately bad. The characters aren't the same. I suspect whoever came up with this series didn't grow up with the original and doesn't have a clue about it's original appeal to youngsters like myself. This current show is lazy, the animation is sloppy and cheap, and it looks like a desperate attempt to come up with content for a streaming service. I feel sorry for the animators who contributed to this series, they mostly likely took a hit on their career by being involved with it. It's just not a good show.
