IMHO I thought the series was great and enjoyed hearing the sounds and songs of the '60s. Gemma Arterton and the crew were a joy to watch. Whether her 'Blackpool' accent was true to it's roots I neither know or care. It was believable to me. I binged the series in one sitting and thoroughly enjoyed it.

I read 'Talk Down' some years ago before the digital age lured me away and I can honestly say that I literally couldn't put it down. It kept me up all one night I was that enthralled and, being an avid reader, is something a book rarely does.
