If you really like horror movies and can vicariously inject yourself into the movie, you should love this fascinating horror film. It reminds me of the Lovecraft type of horror--an imaginary time where very shocking things happen. If you can't do the above, this may not be the kind of horror movie for you. Even the gory parts are there for a reason, to depict the horrific things in that world. It scared me! I didn't find anything funny. Of course, as with most movies, not everything is entirely logical. The thing is, it is sufficiently very good. Enjoy!
